That's a great question! When you use this website - whether you're just browsing or you place an order through our online store - you agree not to sue Grandma Betty's Baking Inc. for any reasons related to your use of this website. 

Here's the bottom line, folks: this is a small business owned and operated by one woman. She's a great baker, but she's not a web design expert and she definitely can't afford to hire a lawyer! 

Look, we get it. The internet can feel like a risky and confusing place sometimes. If you have concerns about sharing your information with us, creating an account on bettybakes.ca, or using your credit card to order online, you are under absolutely no obligation to use this website! You are always welcome to e-mail us at bettybakesto@gmail.com and we can discuss options that might feel more secure for you - such as payment by e-transfer or paying in cash (for residents of Toronto). We will happily honor any valid sales, promotions, or discount codes that you were planning to use toward your online purchase. 

Our promise to you is that we will try to do everything we can to give you a positive customer experience and delicious shortbread cookies. And your promise to us is that you won't try to take us to court. Now that's what I'd call a pretty sweet deal!
